Seven Videos for Every Listing: The Content System That Works While You Work

Apr 17, 2026

You just took a listing.

Most agents post one photo of the front of the house with a caption that says "Just Listed." That post does nothing for your business.

Every listing you take contains at least seven pieces of content. Each one serves a different audience and a different purpose. Here is how to build all seven.

The Seven Video Types

Video 1: The neighborhood walk. Walk the block. Talk about what it is like to live in that area. Schools, parks, commute times, local restaurants. This video is for buyers considering the neighborhood, not just the house.

Video 2: The B-roll property tour. No talking required. Walk through the house filming the details. Kitchen counters, backyard, natural light, closet space. Set it to music. Thirty seconds to one minute.

Video 3: The before and after. If the seller staged or made improvements, document the transition. Buyers respond to transformation content.

Video 4: The market context video. Two to three data points about current conditions in that area. Ninety seconds maximum.

Video 5: The offer process explainer. When you go under contract, make a short video explaining what happens next. What is an inspection. What is an appraisal. What does under contract actually mean for a buyer. This video educates buyers and positions you as the expert.

Video 6: The closing day moment. A short, genuine clip from closing day. Show the keys. The signed documents. The story of a successful closing.

Video 7: The results post. After closing, share the outcome. Real results build credibility faster than any testimonial.

Where to Post Each Type

Market data and neighborhood videos go on your business page and professional profiles. They build your brand as a local expert.

Property tour and closing day content goes everywhere. Reels created for one platform can be repurposed for others with minimal editing.

Stories are for time-sensitive announcements. Open house this weekend. Price just reduced. Multiple offers received. Stories expire, so use them for what is happening right now.

The Content Calendar Behind One Listing

A single listing gives you content across three to four weeks.

Week one before listing: Neighborhood walk, coming soon teaser.

Week one active: B-roll tour, market context video.

Week two: Under contract announcement, offer process explainer.

Week three: Closing day video, results post.

Seven pieces of content from one transaction. Spread over three weeks. All of it real, specific, and positioning you as an active agent producing results.

Your Assignment This Week

Pick your next active listing or a recent transaction. Identify which of the seven videos you can create this week. Start with the one that feels most natural.

One listing. Seven videos. Four weeks of content. Start this week.
